What this site collects
Two categories of data are collected through this site directly: newsletter signups (email address, an optional first name, a consent timestamp, and the page or placement you signed up from, used for consent record-keeping and to understand which pages drive signups) and page-view analytics. Analytics is provided by Google Analytics, which sets first-party cookies to distinguish repeat visits and reports page views, approximate location, and device information to Google; it is used here for aggregate readership numbers, not session replay or advertising. If you block analytics scripts or cookies, the site works exactly the same.
Newsletter data
Newsletter signups use double opt-in: nothing is added to the sending list until you confirm from a confirmation email. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email, without needing an account. Subscriber records are stored in the site's own database (hosted on Supabase) and emails are delivered through Resend; addresses are not shared with anyone else or used for anything beyond this newsletter.
Your rights
You can ask what data is held about you, request correction or deletion, and unsubscribe from communications at any time by contacting hello@marathonlongevity.run.
