Why it may matter here

Endurance training can improve cardiorespiratory fitness while doing very little for — or even reducing — muscle mass if strength work is neglected. This is the marker that would show that trade-off.

What will appear here
Estimated proportions of fat mass and lean (muscle) mass, from a single consistent measurement method chosen for this project.

No readings have been recorded for this project yet.
What unlocks it
First checkpoint, targeted for the end of the Foundation phase.

Source & method

Method to be confirmed at the first checkpoint (e.g. a consistent bioimpedance device or DEXA scan); whichever is chosen will be used consistently and stated on every reading.

Measurement caveats

Different methods (bioimpedance, skinfold, DEXA) disagree with each other systematically. This site will not compare results across methods as one series — a method change gets a visible break in the record, not a smoothed line.

Author reflection

No reading yet means there's no real reaction to report — just the plan to get one. This section will carry a short first-person note once a baseline exists.
